Q.01How long does implementation take?
Most labs go live in two to six weeks: workspace provisioning on day one, document migration and role setup in the first two weeks, then module-by-module rollout at your pace. You get a named onboarding contact throughout.
Q.02Do you migrate our existing documents and records?
Yes. Guided bulk import for controlled documents, training histories, instrument registers and open CAPAs is included in onboarding on all plans. Legacy revision history can be attached to each document so the lineage survives the move.
Q.03Is there a free trial?
We run guided pilots instead of anonymous trials: after a demo, your team gets a sandbox workspace with your own SOPs loaded, for as long as a real evaluation takes. Quality systems deserve a serious look, not a 14-day timer.
Q.04What counts as a read-only user?
Read-only users can view current documents, acknowledge assigned reading, and see records they are named on — but cannot create or approve anything. They're billed at a reduced per-user rate, itemized in your quote.
Q.05Can we get a validation package (IQ/OQ/PQ)?
Yes — the Enterprise plan includes computer system validation support with IQ/OQ/PQ documentation templates and executed evidence for your validation file.
Q.06Does RainerQMS integrate with our LIMS?
Professional includes one LIMS connector; Enterprise includes multiple plus ERP integration. A REST API is available on both, and our connector roadmap covers the major laboratory information systems.
Q.07What happens to our data if we leave?
It's your data, full stop. On termination you receive a complete export: records, documents, files and the full audit trail, in open formats, at no charge.
Q.08Can we pay monthly?
Yes. Annual billing is standard; monthly billing is also available. Your quote shows both options side by side.
